God's Love Brings Hope

All of us have done, said, or thought things that are wrong or immoral in the eyes of God. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." God is perfect and holy, and since our sins have separated us from God's perfection, God's word also says that, "The wages of sin is death."

We as humans fall short of the goodness of God. However, despite our sinful ways, there is good news for everyone! Nearly 2,000 years ago, God sent his son, Jesus, from heaven to earth for one purpose. To save mankind from the wages of sin -- and to allow us to live for eternity in heaven with God, completely free from the burdens we carry.

It can be easy to feel lost and unable to find freedom in our daily lives. But through Jesus Christ, we can be filled with hope in knowing that we are cared for and set free by his grace, sacrifice, and glory.

Jesus Came to Save Us

Jesus was born and lived a completely sinless life during his time on earth. After living 33 years perfectly obedient to God, Jesus was persecuted and died on the cross to pay the penalty for all of our own sins.

Three days after he was buried in a tomb, Jesus defied death and rose from the dead. Soon after, he ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. Through his resurrection, Jesus offers us the gift of eternal life if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

God reaches out in love and wants you to be His child. He has demonstrated His love for us by sacrificing his son in order for us to be able to live in heaven with him forever. Despite the fact that we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Jesus died for us.

How Can I Receive God's Grace?

If you want to choose and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can ask Him to enter into your life today by praying this prayer:

Pray with us now,

"Jesus,
I believe you are the Son of God.
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.
Please forgive me and my sins
and allow me to accept the gift of eternal life.
I ask for you to be in my life and heart
and to be my Lord and Savior.
I want to serve you always.
In Jesus' name, amen."
